Emily Firmin
Artist at Cosmo China Canterbury
Whilst studying at Central St Martin's college of art, Emily was invited to paint at Cosmo China. She has been painting for us for over 30 years.

After finishing her degree, she met Justin Mitchell and together they started using papier-mache to create 3D pictures and sculptures. Their very successful business, Total Pap, is still going strong and has many permanent exhibitions restaurants like the michelin starred @sportsmankent. They have also created a stamp for the royal mail.

Emily's style of painting is mainly of crazy animals, one of her favourites being the dancing Jack Russell.
She loves using a dip pen, perfect for quick drawing on china. and enjoys getting the weirder commissions and has painted rhinos using computers and even pigs playing tennis. Here at Cosmo stock both Emily's fantastic china and a selection of Total Pap's papier-mache sculptures.
